Notes
This was the helicopter from the Blue Thunder TV series and movie.
It was made from a heavily modified Aerospatiale SA 341-C Gazelle. Hughes Helicopters did the modifications to the Gazelle to make it into Blue Thunder.
There were two helicopters used during filming of the movie, one used as backup. One other was a model version used for some shots in the movie. There was at least 1 RC model used for filming.
These are the only specs I have found:
  • Twin turbine-boost generators
  • 200 mph enhanced cruise speed
  • 30 million candlepower spotlights
  • 1 inch thick armor plated Nordic NATO fuselage
  • Movable 6 x barrel 20mm mini gun (4,000 rounds per minute)
