Scale Modeling Information and Links
Important Note
Ok, it's taken some time, but here are my resources for Scale Modelers. Scale modelers are any person who likes to build helicopters (or any model for that matter) to scale. It could be static or R/C. Any links you find here are checked and approved by me. This is NOT a link exchange (though I will exchange links if your site is useful)!!! I use these sites too so you can be assured they're the best I can find. If you want to be included let me know and I'll check your site out. Any vendors listed are ones I've used and trust. None of them have paid to be here!! Links are in no particular order!

This page is starting with links. There will be other info following as I have time- I have some video footage to share of my helicopter doing water pickups, pretty good stills of it too. If you have anything that would fit here let me know and I'll put it up.

Looking for information about building models? Check this page out. Building Scale Models for RC or Static display can be tough when you're just starting. I'm building this list as I go, so if you have some pages that are good let me know!
Vendors and Magazines are here:

R/C Model Links
MILAVIA

Great over all military aviation site. Excellent design and navigation. Niels Hillebrand has helped me out here with some of my images. If you like aircraft he's got a lot of excellent images that can be used for modeling! His gallery is HUGE!

Keith Goodman's
Collection of Scale Models

Good source for static model examples. Email Keith and get him to put up some tips!!

THE best site I know of for hundreds of examples of *near perfect* static scale models. Modelers submit their photos of their work. Great site for reference photos too!

HeliGuy Great site for Nexus pilots and beginners. Tips, tricks and how to get started in the R/C Helicopter hobby. Plus he's got lots of helicopter and radio manuals scanned in incase you need one!
HeliBuf's World Good Helicopter R/C Site, for beginners and experts. Lots of images from fly ins, tips and tricks.
R/C Helicopter Fever Great site for beginners. Tutorials, a few videos, pictures of lots of different models supplied by visitors (some of mine are there too!). There is also a classified area for R/C helicopter items.
Aircraft Resource Center This is one of my favorite sites for reviews and how-tos on detailing models- there is also a pretty good collection of walk arounds with good detail images. They have a pretty extensive helicopter section with a lot of great reviews. I hope to some day be as good as some of these guys!
World Wide Web Model HelicopterFound this site recently. Their articles are older, but offer some really awsome insight on how R/C helicopters fly. They have an article from a world renown R/C pilot- Curtis Youngblood. Well worth the time to read their back issues too.
